beachside inn

Case study client

The Coconut Palm Inn is a private secluded oasis on the southern tip of Key Largo, Florida, in the town of Tavernier.  Their award-winning property is one of only a handful of US recipients of Travel and Leisure's annual “40 Secret Hideaways” in the world.  Coconut Palm Inn offers 450 feet of private beachfront on the Florida Bay and has direct westerly views providing guests with spectacular sunsets year-round.  Their recently remodeled accommodations include 19 lavishly appointed guest rooms and suites, each having its own private outdoor deck offering enchanting views of award-winning gardens, beach, and Florida Bay.

The concept

While visiting Coconut Palm Inn in the Florida Keys, I captured a series of split-level images that highlight the property's unique connection to the water. With its long stretch of private shoreline and tranquil bay setting, I wanted to showcase the resort from the perspective of the water itself — a view guests don't normally see until they arrive and set out on a kayak. These shots celebrate the stillness, clarity, and tropical character of the inn’s surroundings, offering a fresh way to experience the atmosphere that makes the location so special.

Mylo mobile app

The Client

Mylo is an innovative web and mobile application optimising the management of project delivery in the construction industry. Typically, construction sites suffer from a poor and unreliable data connection, which does not allow workers to report timely about the completion of their tasks or unexpected site defects. The Mylo application makes usage of satellite telecommunications solutions (temporarily installed on the construction sites) to enable timely digital data sharing among all the workers on site and specialist/general contractors. This, together with a mobile app providing project management functionalities tailored on the construction companies' needs, allows an overall optimisation of the operations and management of construction works.

The Brief

Mylo needed a 3-minute explainer video for their construction app across mobile, tablet, and web formats. The video had to include on-site shots combined with screen recordings across the different formats.
